MD Title, LLC is a Lafayette-based Real Estate Title Law Firm owned by Partners Margo Huval Dugas and Meghan Young. MD Title specializes in both Residential and Commercial Real Estate transactions as well as Estate Planning, with a primary focus on providing an enjoyable transaction and great customer service. Margo Huval Dugas
Attorney/Co-Owner
Margo Huval Dugas is a 2009 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Louisiana, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. In 2012 she graduated cum laude from Southern University Law Center. Following graduation, Margo served as a judicial law clerk to The Late and Honorable James R. McClelland of the 16th Judicial District of Louisiana. Margo has practiced Real Estate Law as well as Estate Planning for the past 12 years.
Margo is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, and the Lafayette Bar Association. She is also a member of the Junior League of Lafayette and the Lafayette alumnae chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority, affiliate member of The Realtor Association of Acadiana and affiliate member of The Acadiana Mortgage Lenders Association
Margo is licensed to practice law in all Louisiana State courts. Margo joined forces with Meghan Young to form MD Title, LLC in January of 2019. Outside of Margo's legal career as a Real Estate Attorney at MD Title, LLC, she spends her time with family, including her husband Eric Dugas, two boys Benjamin and Thomas, and the newest MD addition, Millie Dugas.
Meghan Young

Meghan Young is a Lafayette based attorney with a diverse background in many areas of law, with a dedicated focus on real estate law. Originally from Opelousas, Louisiana, Meghan pursued her academic interests in criminal justice and political science pre-law at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, graduating in 2006. She furthered her legal education at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, earning her Juris Doctorate and a certificate in Common-Law in 2010.
Early in her career, Meghan gained valuable experience across a range of legal disciplines, including domestic law, personal injury, worker's compensation, estate planning, business law, general civil litigation, and real estate. However, her passion for real estate law led her to specialize exclusively in this area for over a decade. Meghan is deeply involved in the Louisiana legal community, serving as a member of the Louisiana Bar Association and holding affiliate memberships with both The Realtor Association of Acadiana and The Acadiana Mortgage Lenders Association. Additionally, she is a licensed Title Insurance provider and is authorized to practice law in all Louisiana state courts.
In January 2019, Meghan co-founded MD Title, LLC with Margo Huval Dugas, bringing her expertise in real estate law and title services to the firm. Outside of her professional life, Meghan is a devoted mother, balancing her career with raising two young sons, Asher and Everett.
